The CMGA Parent & Child Golf Clinic is a unique 4-session family program designed to introduce parents and children to the game of golf together in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment.
Hosted at Royal Ashburn Golf Club and led by professional instructors, participants will learn the fundamentals of putting, chipping, and full swing through four one-hour coaching sessions. The program concludes with a special on-course experience, giving families the opportunity to put their new skills into action while enjoying one of Ontario's premier golf facilities.
Whether you're new to golf or looking to develop your skills together, this program is the perfect way to stay active, enjoy quality family time, and build confidence on and off the course.

About the Event
The CMGA Elite Tournament is Canada's premier competitive golf event for Muslim golfers. Held over two full days at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley, this is not a casual scramble — it is a genuine test of skill, course management, and competitive golf.
Open only to players with a handicap index of 15 or better, the Elite Tournament brings together the sharpest competitors in the CMGA community for a weekend of serious stroke-play golf on one of the country's finest championship layouts.
Whether you're chasing your first CMGA title or defending your standing in the community, this is the event that defines the season. Spots are strictly limited.
Event Details
Format Individual stroke play, 36 holes across two days. Gross and net scoring categories. A valid Golf Canada handicap index is required. Your scorecard, your result.
Eligibility Players must hold a verified Golf Canada handicap index of 15.0 or lower as of the registration deadline. Handicaps are validated prior to entry confirmation.
Entry Fee — $599.99 CAD Includes a $50 non-refundable registration fee. Your entry covers both days of competition, green fees, power cart, tournament materials, lunch both days, and the CMGA Elite player package.
Dates Round 1: Saturday, August 15, 2026 Final Round: Sunday, August 16, 2026 Awards ceremony follows the final round on Sunday.
Venue TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley — Caledon, Ontario. A PGA TOUR-calibre layout and one of the most respected tournament venues in Canada.

CMGA 2026 Match Play Summer League
Where Competition Meets Community
Welcome to the inaugural CMGA Match Play Summer League, a season-long competition bringing together 24 golfers from across the GTA in a dynamic and competitive match play format.
This league is designed to combine:
Competitive golf
Community and networking
Division rivalries
Season-long standings and playoffs – powered by Golf Genius scoring
Players will compete throughout the summer representing either the East Division or West Division, culminating in a playoff championship to crown the 2026 CMGA Match Play League Champion.
Players must have a valid handicap as this will be factored into all match play rounds.
League Format
Divisions
East Division – 12 Golfers
West Division – 12 Golfers
Regular Season
Each player will compete in:
5 Singles Match Play Rounds
Players will face selected opponents within their division in a 1v1 match play format.
To maximize flexibility while maintaining structure:
Each round will have a designated play window
Players will coordinate match dates and tee times directly with their opponent within that timeframe
This format allows golfers to remain competitive while accommodating work, family, and summer schedules.
Standings & Points
League standings will be tracked throughout the season using Golf Genius and points will be awarded as follows:
Win = 3 Points
Tie = 1 Point
Loss = 0 Points
Live standings and results will be managed through Golf Genius, creating a professional and interactive league experience.

After completion of the regular season:
The Top 4 Players from Each Division advance to the playoffs.

Youth Coaching Clinic
Youth Golf Clinic at Deer Creek!
Calling all golfers aged 11–18! Join us on August 17 & 24 from 5:00–6:30 PM at the Deer Creek Practice Facility for two evenings of fun, fundamentals, and friendly competition—instruction by a certified golf coach, with all equipment provided.
Best part? Thanks to CMGA’s fundraising efforts in partnership with Golf Ontario, most of the cost is covered, so you can focus on your swing without worry!

Youth Coaching Clinic
CMGA proudly presents its first program catered specifically for the Youth in a 4-session golf clinic. Tailored for ages 7-14 and hosted at the prestigious Deer Creek Golf Club, this clinic will offer professional instruction, personalized feedback and an opportunity for the youth to connect with each other to socialize and develop friendships.
The outdoor sessions will rejuvenate our youth as they enjoy their summer break and the supportive and inclusive environment will nurture their passion for the sport of golf. Whether your child is a beginner or a regular player, the experienced instructors will guide them through the fundamentals and specific techniques to excel at golf.
Don't miss this fantastic opportunity for your child to learn, grow and make new friends. The adult sessions will take place simultaneously but separately to allow you and your kids to develop your skills together.
The first 3 sessions will cover all fundamentals at various stations on the practice facility, and the 4th and final session will take their skills to the golf course to put them in action with the guidance of Deer Creek's certified instructor.
